Assessing trophic status of Suoi Hai Reservoir using Carlson’s Trophic State Index

چکیده

The water quality of Suoi Hai reservoir, the largest reservoir in Hanoi city, is being threatened by human activities surrounding area, as reported press. trophic status result both natural eutrophication and nutrient inputs from anthropogenic sources, particularly leachate a lakeside waste treatment plant. This study aims to identify changes state over space time. Data chlorophyll-a concentration, total phosphorus, Secchi disk depth 51 sites during three field campaigns October 2019, August 2020, March 2021 was used calculate Carlson’s index (CTSI). Resultant CTSI (ranged 60 72) allows classifying highly eutrophic water. Its variations time provided evidence for an influence on state. Analysis deviations suggested that phosphorus key factor influenced Therefore, managing load should be critical task control Reservoir at present.
